Okay, I feel old. Yes, I am an empty nester. I am having to learn lots of new things. Things I did not ever even consider. For example: Tonight I fixed supper for DH and I. It was too much food. We will be eating left overs for two more days. Let me correct that...I will be eating left overs for lunch. DH is not big on left overs. I notice lots of little things like that.
It is very quiet around here. I have been trying to stay busy every day, but there still comes a time of extreme quiet.
It has gotten better. I was thinking it was going to take a really long time, but we are adjusting a little bit each day. It helps that Savannah is happy as a lark. Friends and family are very supportive since most have gone through this at one time or another.
One thing that helps is we usually have a day to look forward to. Seeing Sav, going on a trip, dinner with friends, a new movie coming out, seeing extended family soon, etc. Anticipation is a good thing.
I have been getting new ideas every week of things I want to do with my life now. I pray for God to put the right something in my path.
I refuse to sit around and mope. Life is beautiful today!

I am so glad Savannah is having fun.Adjusting from homeschool to high school was really hard, but now things are better. You and John are young and can really do lots of things together including travel.
