Mont St Michel was almost like something out of Arthur's Camelot. Spotting this enchanting island in the distance and finally coming upon it was like a fairy tale. Pilgrims have made the trek to Mont Saint Michel for centuries and it was worth the climb to the top. On top is an incredible monastery that leaves you breathless with awe (and fatigue), wondering how in the world they were able to build such a tall building on an island.
