A Grayton 4th

Gearing up for the 4th of July down here on the coast. The parade is a lively, local and funny motley crew that passes right in front of the cottage. We always have a new collection of colorful bead necklaces that are thrown from passing vehicles to us. Lots of hello's, horn blowing, decorated boats, bicycles and dogs. I even saw Nashville's own Miss Daisy up in the back of a truck pass by one year. She was quite surprised when I recognized her and called hello from the street.
