Happy May day to all! We are having a good soaking rain here and the birds have been dancing and celebrating May day in their little puddles. A little red cardinal was in the midst of pure joy when I spotted him playing at the base of a down spout.
I have finished My Life in France by Julia Child and Alex Prudhomme. What a delightful woman Julia Child was. I always enjoyed watching her cooking show with Mom on the PBS station, but had no idea what an interesting life she led.
I highly recommend reading this lovely memoir on this incredibly talented American who lived abroad the majority of her life, loving every minute of it! From descriptions of her cooking school frustrations to the Parisian and Marseilles apartments, her home in Cambridge to the years and years spent perfecting her huge tome Mastering the Art of French Cooking, Julia led an extraordinary life!

Thanks Julie, I will have to read this!
I think JC was hilarious and it seemed obvious that she truly had fun doing what she loved! Good music choice - R made me a cd of MP about a year ago - I loved Paris and have been secretly checking flights :)
