After school ice cream

It has been a glorious day here in Franklin!  Sav ended up having a great day at school despite the catastrophic events this morning.  So, we made a Baskin-Robbins stop on the way home.  Double fudge on chocolate dipped sugar cone for her and pralines and cream for me.  Yep, a good day.

I am SO glad you are blogging and we've found each other! Ok, I hope I remember everything I wanted to comment on from reading all your posts....Savannah is beautiful and is so grown up! Your kitchen looks wonderful and I want to come cook on the yummy looking stove (actually Mark does). I love the story of you reading under the covers with DH next to you and I love that you call John "DH" - he's such a sweetie! And finally, I love talking to Leslie about your trips - especially about your NY trip last year because ya'll did NY the way I'm dreaming of doing NY....and I can only imagine after what Les said you all bought how much of a dent in DH's wallet you did put!! Too much fun!! Ok, here's the final comment - I'm SO EXCITED ABOUT PARIS!!!!!!!!

Your new blog is such a treat to read. And I know that a ham/cheese sandwich tastes even better in your MARVELOUS new kitchen! I want to see photos of your planned trips, they sound like so much fun. School will be out in no time, let's plan a belated birthday lunch! Take care, Kimberly

Kimberly, I would love to have lunch! Do you remember last year we were together on my birthday taking the Williams-Sonoma cooking class? My, that year flew by. I will want to see and hear all about your upcoming Hawaii trip. Do you blog along with Truman? John loves to read Truman's.

Mandy, It's about time you went on one of these trips!!! I am sooooo excited that you are going!! We all will have a blast! Your mom is the best travel director. We love so many of the same things. She's a Lipscomb gal with class! In Italy last year, your mom was so funny when I wore my small strand of pearls every day and she would say, "You can tell you went to Lipscomb. Lipscomb girls wear pearls! I love my pearls too!" Too cute! Love you little Mandy!

p.s. For other folks info, Mandy was my Rice Girl in my WEDDING 22 years ago!
